One of my favorite light meals to have in the summer are fruity salads. They taste so refreshing and are a great way to incorporate mored delicious summer fruits in your diet. This Strawberry Summer Salad is one I love having for lunch, dinner, or a snack.
What you will need
There's no strict recipe for salads, but here is what I like to add for the base of mine.
- greens
- strawberries
- avocado
- watermelon
- blueberries
- walnuts
- sliced almonds
- chia seeds
- dressing of choice
I find that the best dressings for a summer salad are green dressing and balsamic dressings.
Putting together your strawberry summer salad
Once you have all of the ingredients, add them to a large bowl, add the dressing, and you're all set!

Strawberry Summer Salad
Ingredients
- greens
- strawberries
- avocado
- watermelon
- blueberries
- walnuts

- dressing of choice- balsamic dressing and green dressings work great with this recipe
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl or plate. Then top with the dressing and mix it well.
