Chocolate bark is probably the easiest and relatively healthy dessert/ snack that I like to make! It only takes about five minutes to prepare, about an hour to refrigerate and you have a yummy treat ready to enjoy!
You can really add whatever you like to your chocolate bark, but I decided to add some nuts and dried fruit in order to make mine a little healthier. I also decided to use vegan dark chocolate. See below for the full list of ingredients and instructions.
What you will need
- 1 ½ cup chocolate chips
- almonds
- pumpkin seeds
- walnuts
- pecans
- pistachios
- cranberries
- dried apricots- chopped
How to make it
- Start by melting the chocolate.
- Next, spread it over a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.
- Then sprinkle the nuts and dried fruit on top.
- Place the chocolate bark in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
- Then break it up by either cutting it with a knife, or breaking it up with your hands and enjoy!
Here is a little video I made of the process.
