There's no better breakfast to wake up to on a Saturday or Sunday morning than chocolate chip pancakes. These vegan chocolate chip pancakes have become my favorite breakfast recipe in the last few months. I have made them for my friends, family, boyfriend, and pretty much everyone in my life and so far everyone has become a total fan of them. I can't wait to share them with you too!
What you will need for these vegan chocolate chip pancakes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar (I used coconut)
- 1 cup dairy free milk
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips
How to make your chocolate chip pancakes
- Combine your dry ingredients first and mix them well. Then add in the coconut oil and milk.
- Once they are combined, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Let the mixture sit for a few minutes so the baking powder can activate.
- Grease a pan with some coconut oil and turn the heat on to medium.
- Take ¼ cup scoop to make each pancake. Cook for a few minutes on each side and then flip.
- Top with plant based butter and maple syrup.
Here is a little video of the whole process.

Made them as a special Christmas morning breakfast. Only comment my husband made was “delicious, but you can put less chocolate next time”. Lol. So I will be making them again but with less chocolate. Thank you!!
