This easy baked tofu is something that I meal prep every single week. I add to it to so many different kinds of Buddha bowls, or any other kind of simple lunch or dinner meals. It's the perfect recipe to make in bulk on a Sunday, and combine it with some carbs and veggies to have your meals prepared for the whole week. I can never get sick of it because there are so many ways to enjoy it!

    What you will need

    • 1 16oz block of firm tofu
    • 3 tablespoon corn starch
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon pepper
    • whatever sauce you like to pair it with

How to make your easy baked tofu

    • Start by draining the excess water from your tofu. Use a kitchen towel or paper towel to pat the tofu down and get rid of extra moisture.
    • Slice the tofu into small cubes. The size of these is up to you.
    • In a bowl, add the corn starch, salt, garlic powder, and pepper and mix them well.
    • Take each tofu cube and cover it in the corn starch mixture. Then line it on a baking sheet.
    • Once all of the tofu cubes are ready, bake the tofu for 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit / 232 degrees Celsius.
    • After 20 minutes, take out the tofu and dip each cube into whatever sauce you like that pairs well with your meal. I was making a Thai inspired Buddha bowl, so I covered my tofu in Thai peanut sauce. If you don't want any additional flavor, you can totally skip this step.
    • Once you have added the sauce or dip to your tofu, put them back on the baking sheet and bake for another 20 minutes.
    • Add them to the rest of your meal and enjoy!
