I have been staring at beautiful avocado rose photos for years in admiration, and I have finally learned how to make them on my own. I used to think they looked so intimidating to try and recreate, but I finally learned how to make them and it really isn't hard at all. I made a little avocado rose tutorial of how I make mine, I hope it helps!

What you will need
- 1 ripe avocado
- slice of toast
- optional: hummus, sesame seeds, flakey salt
- a good knife to create thin slices
How to create the avocado rose
- Start with an avocado that is perfectly ripened. You don't want it too hard, or too mushy.
- Cut the avocado in two, and gently peel off the skin.
- Place it on a cutting board and slice it horizontally in very thin slices (about 1 mm in length).

- Next, spread out the slices in a line. Start curling one side into itself and creating a swirl.
- Lift gently with a spatula to place on your toast.

- I love eating mine on beet hummus (or regular hummus!), and adding some sesame seeds and flakey salt
- I think that sometimes seeing the process is much easier than describing how to do it, so I created a video that hopefully helps with that!
