Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kataifi pastry* Normally you have to finely chop and roast the kataifi pastry. However, the version I purchased on Amazon already came toasted, which is why I don't do it in my version!
  • ¾ cup pistachio cream
  • ¼ teaspoon matcha optional, for color
  • 2 bars of dark chocolate about 360g

Topping

  • crushed pistachios
  • flakey salt

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate. Then line a muffin pan with cupcake liners. Add a large spoonful of melted chocolate to each cup. Use the back of a spoon to spread some of the chocolate on the sides of the cups. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
  • In a bowl, mix together the kataifi, pistachio cream, and matcha.
  • To each cup of hardened chocolate, add a large dollop of the pistachio kataifi and press it down to create an even layer.
  • Add a dollop of melted chocolate until you cover all of the pistachio kataifi. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
  • You will make about 12 cups with this recipe.
  • Once the chocolate has hardened, top with crushed pistachios and flaky salt and enjoy!
