Cut the banana in half, then slice each half in two and peel off the banana peel.
Spread creamy peanut butter on top of each banana slice, top with peanuts, and drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
Place in the fridge until the chocolate hardens, or enjoy right away! (I also topped mine with flakey salt).
Notes
Ripe bananas: Make sure your bananas are ripe, not too ripe or they’ll be mushy but ripe enough so they are sweet.
Thin the chocolate: If the dark chocolate isn’t pouring easily, add a touch of melted coconut oil. Use unflavored coconut oil if you don’t want your Snickers to have a slight coconut flavor.
Use a food processor: I find the peanuts will stick best if they are in small chunks so throw them in the food processor for a few minutes until they are the right size. A mini chopper also works well.
Line your plate with parchment: Place the prepared banana snickers on a plate or tray lined with parchment so they don’t stick.
Storing: Leftovers keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days at most.
Flash freeze: To freeze the banana snickers, place them on a cookie sheet in the freezer to harden up before transferring them to a Ziploc bag or airtight container.
