Take the mangos out of the freezer: Unless you have a high speed blender you should let the mangos soften a touch so they break down easier.
Add the liquid first: If you are using a conventional blender it is recommended to add the liquid ingredients first. It makes blending a little easier.
Keep a bag of frozen mangos in the freezer: It’s always great to have a bag of frozen fruit on hand whether it be mangos, strawberries, or blueberries.
Stash ripe bananas in the freezer: Don’t throw away ripe bananas. Stash them in the freezer to use in this and other smoothie recipes. Freeze them peeled and chopped into chunks so you can make this mango banana protein smoothie any time the mood hits.
