Chocolate Protein Pancakes Recipe
Delicious and fluffy chocolate pancakes topped with homemade chocolate sauce. Indulgent, but packed with protein and vegan, too!

Chocolate Pancake Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoon cacao or chocolate protein powder
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup dairy free milk
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
Chocolate Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoon chocolate protein powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon cacao
Start by adding all of the pancake ingredients to a large bowl and mixing them well.
Grease your pan with coconut oil and add about ¼ cup of batter to the pan for each pancake.
Cook each pancake for 2-4 minutes on each side.
To make the sauce, start by melting the coconut oil first. I melt mine by microwaving it for 30 seconds.
Then add the maple syrup, chocolate protein powder, and cacao and stir them together.
Pour the chocolate sauce over the pancakes.
Optional: top with fruit of your choice. I added banana slices to mine.
