Vegan French toast couldn't be easier! This delicious breakfast recipe is made with simple ingredients and is gluten free too.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dairy free milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • ½ tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • about 6 slices of bread

Instructions
 

  • To a large bowl, add the milk, flax, corn starch, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Mix it well and let it sit for a few minutes.
  • Slice your bread and dip each loaf of bread into mixture. Make sure it is fully covered. I let mine sit for ten seconds in each side.
  • Grease your pan with coconut oil and cook each piece of French toast for 2-3 minutes on each side. This recipe makes for about 6 slices of toast.
  • Once your French has been cooked, top it with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries and enjoy.
