Peanut Butter Oats with Caramelized Bananas Recipe

For Caramelized Bananas:

  • 1 1/2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

For Oats:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • dash of salt


  • Slice the bananas.
  • Mix the coconut oil, agave, cinnamon, and vanilla in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the bananas on the pan.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes, then flip the bananas over so they can cook on the other side.
  • In a separate pan, mix your oats, almond milk, peanut butter, and a dash of salt and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Mix 1/2 of the caramelized bananas into the oats.
  • Place the oats in a bowl and top with the remaining bananas.
  • I also topped mine with cacao nibs and coconut flakes.
