The Best Homemade Garlic Bread Recipe
This is the best homemade garlic bread recipe! It's made with simple ingredients, has a deep roasted garlic flavor, and is vegan!
- 1 loaf of bread I used ciabatta
- 1 stick of vegan butter ½ cup/ 112 grams/ 4 oz
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 1-2 teaspoon of chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Make sure the butter is at room temperature. Take it out of the fridge a few hours before starting.
Cut off the top of the bulb of garlic and generously drizzle it with olive oil.
Wrap the garlic in foil and roast it at 450*F for 35-40 minutes.
Allow the garlic to cool off for a few minutes because it will be very hot coming out of the oven.
Once the garlic has cooled, squeeze out the insides of the garlic into a bowl. Also add the vegan butter, parsley, nutritional yeast, and salt. Mix them well.
Slice the bread the long way (hot dog style). Divide up the garlic butter on to the bread and spread it on in a thick layer.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake the bread for 15 minutes at 450*F.
Slice up the bread, dip in some tomato soup and enjoy!
